Navigator Student international health plan covers U.S. citizens or residents traveling abroad, as well as foreign nationals who are coming to the U.S. for educational purposes. Navigator Student meets the needs of international students and faculty by offering comprehensive worldwide benefits, both inside and outside the United States, without the typical time limits, eligibility conditions, and exclusions that are common among traditional student plans. Navigator Student meets or exceeds the United States government student visa requirements including J-1 Visa.

You will also have access to an exclusive network of providers which cover almost every specialty in 180 countries and are certified by the American or Royal College of Medicine. Inside the United States, Navigator Student members have full access to the Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Card Network in all 50 states. This network includes more than 80 percent of physicians and 90 percent of hospitals. The providers bill the insurance company directly, eliminating the need for you to file a claim and wait for a reimbursement.
